The CHM1E series electronic molded case circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are suitable for AC 50Hz/60Hz operation. They have a rated insulation voltage of 800V, a rated working voltage of 690V and below, and a rated working current of 16 to 800A. They are designed for non-frequent switching and non-frequent motor starting in circuits with overload, short-circuit, and undervoltage protection, effectively protecting circuits and electrical equipment from damage. They are suitable for protecting industrial power distribution, building power systems, and various control equipment.

Ambient Temperature
·This series of products can operate for extended periods within normal ambient and operating temperatures between -5°C and 40°C.
·For operating temperatures exceeding 40°C (over 60°C for motor protection), please refer to the temperature derating requirements or contact us. Storage temperature: -20°C to 70°C.
Altitude
The normal operating altitude for this product must not exceed 2000m.
If installation is required at an altitude exceeding 2000m, changes in dielectric strength and air temperature drop must be taken into consideration. Refer to the altitude derating factor table for details.
Protection Degree
The circuit breaker body has an IP protection rating of IP20.
Circuit breakers installed in switchgear:
Circuit breakers with toggle handles: IP40
Circuit breakers with electric operating mechanisms: IP40
Pollution Degree
This product operates in pollution degree 3 environments (industrial environments) as defined in IEC 60947-1 and 60664-1.
Humidity
For normal operation, the following must be met:
At an ambient air temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity must not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity conditions are permitted at lower temperatures.
The average relative humidity in the wettest month is 90%. The impact of condensation on the product surface on product performance must be considered.
Reliable contact indication with isolation function
All molded case circuit breakers in this series comply with the isolation defined in IEC standard 60947-2.
The isolation position corresponds to the O (OFF) position.
The operating handle will indicate the "OFF" position only when the contacts are truly open.
Rotating the handle or electric operating mechanism will not change the reliability of the contact indication system. This has been tested.
The isolation function must be guaranteed.
The mechanical reliability of the contact indication system.
No leakage current.
A certain overvoltage withstand capability between the input and output terminals.
