The CHM1EL series intelligent residual current circuit breaker is a key electrical protection device in power distribution equipment. It provides leakage, overload, and short-circuit protection, automatically shutting off power to ensure safety. It features intelligent monitoring, providing real-time circuit status information and visually displaying it on a digital display. Suitable for a variety of applications, including residential, commercial, and industrial, it ensures the reliability and safety of power systems.
Product Features
Compliant Standards
·GB/T14048.1 General
·GB/T14048.2 Circuit Breakers
·IEC 60947-1 General
·IEC 60947-2 Circuit Breakers
Ambient Temperature
·The series can operate continuously within normal ambient and operating temperatures of -5°C to 40°C.
·For operating temperatures exceeding 40°C (over 60°C for motor protection), derating should be applied or contact us.
·Storage temperature range: -20°C to 70°C.
Altitude
·The normal operating installation altitude must not exceed 2000m. If installation is required at altitudes exceeding 2000m, changes in dielectric strength and air temperature drop must be considered. Refer to the altitude derating factor table for details.
Protection Level
Circuit breaker body: IP20
Circuit breaker installed in switchgear:
Circuit breaker with toggle handle: IP40
Circuit breaker with electric operating mechanism: IP40
Pollution Degree
This product operates in pollution degree 3 environments (industrial environments) as defined by IEC 60947-1 and 60664-1.
Humidity
Normal operation requires:
At an ambient air temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity must not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity conditions are acceptable at lower temperatures.
The average relative humidity in the wettest month is 90%.
Condensation on the product surface must be considered to affect product performance.
Reliable contact indication with isolation function
· All molded case circuit breakers in this series comply with the isolation requirements defined in IEC standard 60947-2.
· The isolation position corresponds to the O (OFF) position.
· The operating handle indicates the "OFF" position only when the contacts are actually open.
· Rotating the handle or electric operating mechanism does not alter the reliability of the contact indication system. After testing, the isolation function must ensure:
· Mechanical reliability of the contact indication system
· No leakage current
· A certain overvoltage withstand capability between the input and output terminals.
